Empowering Communities, Transforming Lives
Turn the Page Foundation was born from personal experience. During my time navigating the legal system and my experience in Stanislaus County Jail, I witnessed firsthand what so many others face: the desperate need for meaningful reading material. Men asking for books—real books—but finding only worn romance novels and outdated materials that offered little hope, education, or purpose.
That experience changed me and gave birth to this mission. Operating in Santa Clara, Stanislaus, and San Joaquin Counties, we now provide carefully selected books to inmates—resources that educate, inspire, and open doors to new possibilities. From skilled trades manuals to personal development guides, from educational materials to literature that sparks hope, we believe the right book at the right time can turn a page in someone's life. Because I've lived it, I know what a difference it makes.
Turn the Page Foundation is dedicated to rehabilitation, education, and restoration. We provide quality reading materials to individuals in county jails and support them with book donations upon their release. Our goal is simple but profound: to give people the tools they need to educate themselves, discover purpose, and move forward with hope—whether through learning a trade, strengthening their faith, or simply believing in the possibility of a better tomorrow.
Our support extends beyond the jail walls. Once released, individuals can request books directly from us—trade manuals, educational materials, inspirational reading—whatever they need to move forward. We also provide informational resources about county programs, work opportunities, and reentry services to help navigate the transition back into the community. I've personally helped people through this process, connecting them with the resources and guidance they need. Having experienced the system myself, I understand how overwhelming reentry can be without proper support, and we're committed to being that bridge to a better future.
Because everyone deserves the chance to turn the page and begin a new chapter.
Turn the Page Foundation is seeking partnerships with local businesses, community organizations, and individual sponsors who share our vision of rehabilitation through education. Your support directly impacts lives—providing inmates with the tools they need to transform their futures and reenter society with purpose and hope.
As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we welcome tax-deductible monetary contributions that enable us to purchase and distribute quality educational materials, skilled trades resources, and inspirational literature. Due to storage limitations, we are focusing on financial donations rather than physical book donations at this time.
